I do not regret to be Astitchworks student especially from my zero and slow ....now I managed to complete 4 designs for each package courses I learned that I feel more confidential and proud of my own sewing works.  No more crying and struggling ...hahaaa...alot of fun with teacher June.

I would like to express my gratitude for being one of your students.  I've been with Astitchworks since 2012 and have just completed yet another fulfilling course offered.  Astitchworks believes in providing lifelong learning - nurturing students to reach their fullest potential. Hence, the duration and the comprehensive courses offered, in my opinion, is suitable to any individual who is hunger for knowledge.  Thank you Trainer, June, for guiding me throughout my years in Astitchworks. I opted for One to One lessons with her.  These were practical/hands-on lessons, from taking body measurements, to draft pattern on papers, learning and cutting types and the right layout of fabric and to assenble pieces together neatly and professionally.

Trainer June took pride took in delivering her course work and was determined to see her students succeed. She was thorough in carrying out the lesson, following my pace and ability.  She explained the process of couture and industrial techniques.  All these couldn't be achieved overnight!  One required to keep on practising.  Homework to be done.  Understand and communicate with open mind help alot.  Focus is the key. Frankly, the learning process was wasn't smooth sailing because mistakes would definitely happened along the way.  That's part of lerning.

However, thank you for allowing me to do just that, because I learnt to take responsibilities, not to whine.  Instead I conquered the obstacles and improved at every stage to complete and accomplise success.  I will always be grateful!

Trainer June, is my mentor and I am proud to be a part of Astitchworks.  Do visit them, be part of them and understand them.  They will definitely understand your needs too.

All the best!!!

This was disgusted with Nadine Ann Lourdes actions who wrote at Astitchworks' Review. Astitchworks already sincerely apologized her, she still ego. I found Nadine Ann Lourdes showed unprofessional attitude and waste more time talkative with a trainee.
I was there in sewing class, she came late & didn’t complete her sewing/drafting pattern. She wasting her times to unpick & redo her sewing again. June advised her to practice at home. So far, I always heard June expressed “sew look like professional and keep on practice”. She didn’t cherish June effort on her Installment fee for her sewing class. How can she say differ on June teaching if she is unskilled in sewing?
I learned with Astitchworks, one year plus, of course; there are trainers change in sewing classes depend on students speed learning/attitude. I find June teach more clear and provide more details with a different methods basis on learners’ speed learning or design to sew. It would be easy for a trainer to check the drafting pattern in full set (front/Back/sleeves) and not a waste of time as what I know is mainly to identify students’ mistakes /develop a correct design.”
Astitchworks provide a satisfactory teaching in small sizes for a student to learn from my experience at other schools. As June student now, she always checks my works to ensure it done and very concern whether I able to do the pattern or sewing.
I salute June who always patience and SORRY late to support you June, I just came back from abroad.
Please do respect your trainers/teachers who are helping you to be BETTER.

Thank you so much for teaching this course as I discovered that June, Liza and Adi are very patience teachers and staff. Their encouragement and persistence during my learning period has taught me, opened my eyes to what I could be. This sewing course very rewarding and practical. The sewing notes were extremely helpful and I appreciate your examples, which helped to understand in better learning. The homework helped a great deal, too. You all have changed my whole aspect on my learning. Other institutes I have taken were difficult to understand and lack of details & explaining.
Thank you for explaining things until I understand. Thank you for making me do my best. May you inspire others to achieve the greatness you have. HAPPY TEACHER DAY!!!

I had no idea what a bobbin is or what seam allowances are when I started. This stuff takes time, lots to learn, especially if you’ve never sewn before. With lots of practice, patience, and study, now I can cut my own pattern. I don't regret it to learn it at Astitchworks, ever; the course fee is high and very far from home.

It really worth and trainers not selfish to share their skills.Thank you kindly to June, Adi and Sawn for their patience and courage.

You have no idea how grateful we are, Astitchworks and trainers have helped our daughter cope up with the pressure of her new program. She might lack confidence, but; we all know that the credit for her progress doesn’t go to those classes only, to a helpful and caring teacher like you. It is impossible to put a price tag on the kind of education our daughter receives beyond; extra sessions to make sure she can cope in sewing; your guidance is truly priceless. Thank you so much, Astitchworks June and Adi for giving our little one Big dreams. She wants to continue to learn more after her 1st year.

Here I want sincerely said after I read some students' negative comments about Astitchworks or trainers.  Blame is so common in fact often hear someone up anything without reason. Ask yourself, "Who is responsible for your own choices in this situation?" Have a good communication and learn to be a tribute to what the impact of other people or school if you want them to care/concern about your needs. And, in our society, we as adults need to understand and take responsibility for our own if we want the best possible education.

When I signed up for the course, I was a bit leery of course based on the bad comments. As I moved through the course, though, I found that the course is very helpful in understanding the concepts that were being presented. June is a knowledgeable extraordinary instructor, has assisted me in clearly explain concepts with which the students face difficulties and challenges like me. She is consistently enthusiastic about the course, encouraging a lot of interaction. Overall, she is one of the best instructors that I have had. The lesson hours did hold several sessions for the late.
The sewing notes are clear and understandable. It gave a good background for the theoretical courses and practical assignments. Although the project was probably one of the higher stress items in the course, it really given beneficial, and are available for discussions and help, and provided good feedback on how to do the project better in the future.
Thank you also to Liza and Sadiq have applied a lot of thought as to what problems are assigned, yet give the student adequate practice. There was some initial confusion in setting up the class schedule, but this was resolved quickly. Even, my class has expired, extension period has given toward the end I was more comfortable. Sadiq supports students and never hesitated to answer a student’s email or called, reinterpret misunderstood matters, and allow a sense of open discussions.
I highly recommend Astitchworks is one the best sewing program all I have attended. Hope students to understand their role in the teaching and learning equation. I have learned since 2014 until I completed my advanced course that help in my family business.

I who had graduated from a fashion school was not taught the basics of body measurement and thus I struggled with my patterns and sewing capabilities. Also, there's a difference between a fashion designer and a dressmaker. So I advised any of you out there who happen to apply for a fashion school to study the proper basics here at Astitchworks first.

The trainer, Kak June has help me further understand the concept of both design and sewing altogether without any trouble. Thank you Astitchworks for the guidance and patience. It was truly worth the learning experience.

Prior to learning at Astitch-works, I was afraid that I could not cope with the lesson as I had no prior experience in sewing. The trainer, Kak June was very patient with me even when I made many mistakes. She gave me useful advice and know-hows which helped me improve my sewing greatly.

She always made sure that I am comfortable coming for lessons by offering me food and drinks prior to the start of the lesson. As I am someone who easily forgets, she always repeats difficult sewing techniques and also allowed me to take photos. I am so thankful to kak June for teaching me and I look forward to learning from you again.

I took up the Elementary Traditional Sewing course and learn on how to sew a Baju Kurung, A vintage lace Kebaya and Batik sarong. Trainers were very detailed and precise in their method of teaching from pattern making to actual sewing. They were very helpful in sharing sewing tips through their years of experience and always have advice that will come in handy for both newbies and experienced students as well.

No doubt this would be an excellent place to learn or refresh your sewing skills as a gain knowledge that you cannot find in books. A Very cool clean classroom studio environment with fully equipped sewing facilities that makes learning nice and comfortable. Short of fabric? Just drop by Joo Chiat complex across the street and grab some! If you have a passion for sewing, fashion design or just have a spark for creativity, check this place out!

The best thing about Astitchworks classes is the teaching more advanced sewing techniques by June’s enthusiasm makes it great fun and makes it seem easy to understand. She is patience teacher, relaxed approach to teaching a subject she is obviously passionate about.
As a novice, I was a bit intimidated by the technical stuff but June explained and demonstrated everything that I should be expected to do, giving “ hints n tips “ to help out. From 4 projects, I have learned and became more confident as I have success to show for my efforts of learning and be courage by her. I re-learned lots of skills, and I’ve been able to come home with a super grounding in the basics to allow me to tackle more elaborate projects.

Would highly recommend to everyone (and DO!)” THANK YOU June and Astitchworks

A really great sewing class. June and Lina are very confident and relaxed teachers which help to make me feel confident and relaxed too.
I attended one of the beginners' courses with no sewing experience whatsoever and following the course, with help of Astitchworks I manage to purchase my own sewing machine and overlock that help me confidently undertaking projects at home.
I learned lots of new skills which has led me to try some trickier stuff at home after the classes ended. This led to very relaxing sessions where all questions could be asked and any issues raised so that I could get the most out of the sessions.” Focus and Listen more to what the trainers teaching and less intrusively.
It's worth, ever; the course fee is expensive. Most important for me is the skills and tips shared by the trainers. And, I learned more than I expected, and I’m now confident enough to design my own projects especially I'm a dancer, need more clothing. Hurrah!”
